The following is a comment from News for the Revolution:

I’ve been dealing with health problems for half my life that were accompanied by severe depression and anxiety. When I went back to school the stress took its toll on my body and my health really started to break down. I was put on Effexor, one of the drugs mentioned in the video, to help me cope with things and it was a nightmare.

As bad as the side effects of taking this drug are, the absolutely worse thing about it is the withdrawal symptoms one suffers from when trying to coming off of it. On my first attempt to kick this horrible drug my health deteriorated to the point where my doctor recommended that I resume my regular dose, because I was so violently ill that I could not function. This was from only lowering my dose. It was a year before I could make another attempt to get clean. I’m happy to say that my second attempt was successful. I had to drag the weaning process over a long period of time and I still became ill, but I was successful.

I did some research at the time, reading about other people’s experiences in attempting to come off this drug and it’s amazing how often it was compared to kicking highly addictive narcotics such as heroin. Of course no one is ever told about the nightmare they will endure when they try to stop taking this “medication”

  2. Thank you for sharing this. I am so sorry you had to go through this. And I am glad you were able to overcome this ordeal.

This is criminal! There is no other way to describe it.

I am adding your comment to the post, since it serves to reinforce the message of this video.

    Thanks!

  3. One of the ways they get you is that people are often desperate and willing to try anything. I’ve always been against prescription meds, even before I knew the full extent of their evil, but I was facing the prospect of being forced out of school because of me deteriorating health, so I relented. The problem is that pharmaceuticals are the only option that we are given. The video shows this with the story of that poor girl.

  4. Yes, this is my issue with health, too. I have a few severe physical issues I deal with. And one is asthma. I have sought alternative/natural medicines and foods, in order to get off of the prescrip meds. And I have found a natural replacement for one of the meds. But I still have to take the one other.

It is hard, when the med keeps you breathing, to give it up because of the other side effects, and there are side effects. They have most of us right where they want us.

I am as responsible for this mess as anybody. I trusted and turned a blind eye for years, to certain things about this government and all that comes with it. And now there is this mess we are all in now.

And yet, I wonder, what could I, or any of us, have done to prevent this?

    Thanks, again!

  5. It was a real eye opener leaving the US to practice in New Zealand. Psychiatrist here are required to participate in regular peer review in order to maintain their license. This forces them to discuss their cases with other psychiatrist to ensure their patient care is in line with best practice. Outside the US, so-called “pediatric bipolar” disorder is recognized as a scam conjured up by Lily and other pharmaceutical companies. Australian psychiatrist Dr Peter Parry has being doing presentations all over the world on this topic – including a few in the US: http://stuartjeannebramhall.com/2014/01/20/drug-companies-killing-kids-for-profit/

  6. Thanks, I’ll check out the link!

It’s not surprising to me that other countries have procedures in place to protect the patient.

Money and power are god in the US!

    Thank you, Dr Bramhall!
