Study: Global Medical Expansion Has “Made Us Sick”

Wonder why you feel sickly, even though you work out, eat organic foods and take vitamins everyday? The following might help to explain:

Study: Global Medical Expansion Has “Made Us Sick”

The burgeoning “health” care industry has made people see themselves as sickly

Researchers from Ohio State University had a hunch that the expansion of the medical industry has made people overall view themselves as unwell – in need of help. First psychologically, then physically.

For all the medical advancements, people are actually worse for the wear despite what the medical community itself will propagate (longer life expectancy, lower cancer rates etc). In this instance, one only need look around to see a thriving “sick care” industry, having nothing to do with reversing illness.

OSU researchers came up with some interesting analyses to determine if medical expansion has made people view themselves as unhealthy. (Does physical illness follow?) Interestingly, they also backhacked the study to see what life would be like if medical sprawl hadn’t take place.

Researchers featured in the July 2015 issue of the journal Social Science Research used several large multinational datasets to examine changes in how people rated their health between 1981 and 2007 and compared that to medical expansion in 28 countries that are members of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development.

So, did people feel healthier? Breathe a sigh of relief as the world of medicine expanded drastically during that time? Hui Zheng, assistant professor of sociology at Ohio State, thinks not.

He says:

Access to more medicine and medical care doesn’t really improve our subjective health. For example, in the United States, the percentage of Americans reporting very good health decreased from 39 percent to 28 percent from 1982 to 2006.

Then, he did a “counterfactual analysis” using the data to see what would have happened if the medical industry hadn’t expanded at all in these countries since 1982. Health factors like economic development were left unchanged.

This analysis shows that self-rated health would have increased in these 28 countries. For example, the percentage of Americans reporting very good health could have increased by about 10 percent.

Zheng concludes:

It seems counterintuitive, but that’s what the evidence shows. More medicine doesn’t lead to citizens feeling better about their health – it actually hurts,

It appears that perception has a lot to do with health. With hope, our readers will not let outside influence gaslight them into sickness, but boldly stand on their own two feet as much as possible. You have the right to be well. (emphasis added)

The Merican medical industry (The AMA and Big Pharma), in particular, is no different from any other corporate-pig entity: it exists only to gain more wealth and power for the elite-swine few who own and operate it. The Merican medical industry does not care about your health, Mr and Ms Merica, nor does it exist to prevent illness by creating ‘cures’ for the diseases that make us ill. So if you’re giving away your money for ‘cancer research’, for instance, then you are simply throwing your money at the very creatures who already have too much to begin with. In other words, the medical industry has no interest in curing cancer or any other disease, since its elite-swine owners and operators do not want a cure for these diseases: diseases equals wealth, power and depopulation.

The Merican medical industry is interested only in making you believe you are ill, and then feeding you medications (poisons), with the aid of your ‘physicians’, that will actually make you ill, and, once again, for the sole purpose of raking in billions of dollars for its elite owners and operators.

You and I are being used by the medical industry as mere lab-rats. And at the same time, the industry is helping to depopulate the earth of those of us who don’t meet the eugenic ‘requirements’ for life, which have been despotically established by its elite-swine owners and operators (see Agenda 21).

It all comes down to this:

“You have the right to be well”

And your wellness should not be left up to this criminal, genocidal industry!

P.S.

I believe this despotic and greed-driven pandering of illness and ‘cures’ is also behind the workout mechanism/exercise-regimen and supplements industry. I would venture a guess that the workout mechanism/exercise-regimen and supplements industry is owned and operated by the same elite wealth and power that owns and operates the medical industry.

I see healthy, young Mericans spending great amounts of money on gyms, workout mechanisms and supplements. And here, the emphasis is on vanity more than health. Every other ‘info-commercial’ is on some kind of workout mechanism/exercise-regimen or supplement.

Why are young Mericans so obsessed with how they look and their health? They have been programmed, by Hollywood, the other media, the AMA and Big Pharma, to be narcissistic, in my opinion.

Young Mericans, for the most part, have been morphed into androids that care little for character, integrity or decency, but instead, are fully fixated on the ego and the outward appearance. Most young Mericans, today, only seem to be concerned about looking good, getting rave reviews, ‘partying’ and getting laid. Everything else that makes us human, it would seem, is of little importance to them! And these particular Mericans have no idea that everything they seek, in this shallow, self-absorbed manner, has been programmed into them by the powers that be system/order. Most young Mericans truly have become little more than two-legged Pavlov’s dogs, salivating away as the bell tolls for them!

And meanwhile, the despotic wealthy and powerful few become even more despotically wealthier and powerful, while the common Merican continues his or her long, slow slide into oblivion!

P.S.

Here is a quote from a person in the medical field:

Great post. Today, was one of those days where I was watching another provider adding more medications that will likely have little to no benefit for the patient. It wasn’t about profit. No one was getting any richer off the generic crap. It is all about our obsession with numbers. Treating to targets that mean next to nothing. Although, I don’t agree with everything in the post ( I sorta like me and what I do), I do agree with much of it. Thanks for posting this

  1. “the emphasis is on vanity more than health”, this is so true, and it’s like this in every aspect of our lives. We are conditioned to be self-centered narcissists who are only concerned with self-gratification, which are the essential qualities of the ideal consumer.

  2. I probably sound like a broken record, but what you wrote, here, is how I see it also!

A distracted prey is an easy prey, and what better way to keep your prey distracted, beyond war and other fears, than to keep them focused on themselves. Vanity is key. Narcissism reigns, just the way the elite powers want it!

I was trained as a music teacher, many years ago, to ‘make good music consumers’ of my students. That is a quote. Even at that time in my life this manipulative phrase bothered me.

    Thanks!

  3. It’s amazing that someone could see the purpose of music lessons to be a means of teaching children to be consumers. But I guess that’s all education is in general. A means of training us to be obedient wage-slave consumers.

Have you had a chance to check out that documentary, The Century of the Self? It talks a lot about the influence of Edward Bernays and how his techniques were used by the government and corporate world to control and manipulate us into being good, passive consumers. It offers some perspective into how we ended up where we are are today.

  4. I have watched a portion of it. I am doing so much viewing and reading that sometimes, as you know, it almost seems overwhelming. But I have it bookmarked and on my mind to watch!

I read several articles a year or so ago on Bernays, a friend is somewhat of an expert on Bernays and the whole mind-control issue. So I am more than familiar with this psychotic blank, blank!

Yes, public and higher education are mechanisms of this system/order, and I mean inner-city, parochial, private and all higher education. Merican education exists to keep the beasts of burden coming!

The public education system was set up for this very purpose. If I knew then what I know now, I never would have taken part in that system. Yes, there are good teachers who love their students, but they are as indoctrinated and brain-dead, and even more so, than their students. It’s a propagandizing, demoralizing and dehumanizing nano-system supporting the entire system/order!

    Thanks again!

  6. Thank you for the comment and the insight. I’m going to add your comment to the post.

I have two doctors who are wonderful, caring men. And I think about them as I write these kinds of posts. But as I read on your blog, many or most physicians have been programmed to be this way. And it is the people who are suffering because of this business-as-usual practice of medicine. And I am, first and foremost, on the people’s side with these issues.

I don’t mean to condemn everyone involved in the field. But we have too few people who will stand up to this system/order, in medicine, politics and education, in particular. I notice you sticking your neck out there, as well as a few others I have come across.

I really admire you for your concern for the patient and willingness to speak the truth. The truth hurts sometimes, it must hurt, in order to effect change.

    Thanks again!
