I hear a great deal about the wisdom of living in the present, and to a great extent, I wholeheartedly agree. But the majority of us seem to spend far too much time focused on the present, AND THE FUTURE, and not in any way that serves us, humanity and the rest of the planet.
I believe we all need to focus on the distant past, and I do mean FOCUS.
It is in the wisdom of the ancient peoples, on this continent and all others, where I believe the answers to most of our horrendous problems might be found. And the only way to access this wisdom is to, for at least a moment, every so often, look back and fervently seek it out.
