“You Realize The Universal Basic Income Is Feudalism, Right?”

It’s getting to the point where I can find little I agree with, when it comes to the alt-news sites. There are a few of these sites I have already dropped from my blog (follow-list) and bookmarks, and it appears there are going to be even more dropped in the very near future.

I am posting a small portion of the following article, because its author appears to be either unaware and flawed in her reasoning, or she has written this piece to covertly serve the very system/order she claims to stand against (the elite-swine system/order):

You Realize The Universal Basic Income Is Feudalism, Right?

By Daisy Luther

What does the future hold for average people?

And they’ll welcome it with open arms, convinced that they are embracing a smart, fair system that eliminates poverty. The greed, entitlement, and lack of ambition that seems inherent in many people today will have them slipping on the yoke of servitude willingly.

Here’s what I mean.

Have you ever been around people who say things like,

“I can’t afford it, but I deserve it…”

“Having [fill in the blank with a material object] is a basic right…”

“Losing that right is okay with me because it’s for the greater good.”

But the thing is, what we “deserve” is the right to pursue our dreams freely.

* We deserve what we earn.
* We deserve to be secure in our life, liberty, and property.
* We deserve the freedom to go about our lives and decisions as long as we aren’t harming the life, liberty, and property of others.

{Sojourner note: “We deserve what we earn.” We must work and earn our ‘right’ to live, even though we had no say about the system of work and earn that existed long before we were born; a system of work and earn that only benefits the elite-swine? Americans live in a sick twisted society that values “hard work”, money, and possessions, more than life itself. I had no say in being born in this criminal system/order, and so I have, throughout the years, attempted to live my life according to what I think, believe and desire, as opposed to what the mindless herd has been indoctrinated/programmed to think, believe and desire. “We deserve what we earn” isn’t life, it’s an enslaved existence, a carrot-on-a-stick, dangling-in-front-of-the-nose existence! It’s the greatest life-wasting/destroying mind-fuck of all time!}

No one owes us anything other than that.

{Sojourner note: nor do I owe this author or this system/order anything, other than, that is, my disgust and disdain! However, I will, as best as I can, still look out for those less privileged than myself, no matter what their situation might be. Meanwhile, this author would most likely be exhorting these same poor people to “Get a job and Earn a living!” This is the corporate-capitalist mindset, the asinine “American-way”}

But quite a few people are ready to give up their freedom so that someone else can take care of them.

A lot of people disagree with that list of rights.

They feel like they deserve a living just for drawing breath. As Gawker’s headline reads, “A Universal Basic Income Is the Utopia We Deserve.”

The idea of a universal basic income for all citizens has been catching on all over the world. Is it too crazy to believe in? We spoke to the author of a new book on the ins, outs, and utopian dreams of making basic income a reality.

The basic income movement got a significant boost this week when the charity GiveDirectly announced that it will be pursuing a ten-year, $30 million pilot project giving a select group of Kenyan villagers a basic income and studying its effects. As an anti-poverty solution, universal basic income appeals to impoverished people in Africa, relatively well-off Scandinavians, and Americans automated out of their jobs alike.

Sure, money for nothing sounds great on the surface.

But what would the real result of a Universal Basic Income be?

Feudalism. Serfdom. Enslavement…

“Money for nothing”, my arse!

What a pile of corporate-capitalist shit! First of all, I could care less about the “UBI”, since it will most likely never happen. But if it did happen, I wouldn’t see it as being “money for nothing”. Not at all! I would see it for what it truly is: a long past-due-payment to “we the people”, whose ancestors built this empire from hell with their blood, sweat and tears (their lives). A past-due payment that only begins to give “we the people” what we deserve: a life in abundance, with a purpose that we can freely seek, and that fulfills us, a life that is the polar opposite of the workaholic, chasing-after-new-toys existence that most of us still refer to as life today.

We the individuals were not made to exist as willfully-ignorant beasts of burden, we were made to live (together or separately) as unique, free individuals.

And as far as this author assigning the “UBI” these tags, “Feudalism. Serfdom. Enslavement…”, what the hell does this author think we and our ancestors have been imprisoned in for the last four-hundred-plus years? Capitalism was born out of feudalism. Corporate-capitalism is just a variation on a very old theme: the psychotic rich getting richer, while the enslaved and disenfranchised working-poor get plowed in the ass and die penniless.

For instance: the tiny pieces of land we exist on do not truly belong to us, if they did, we wouldn’t have to pay tribute (property tax) to our monarchical, feudal lords (the local government stooges). “We the people” are the very definition of serfs:

Serf: an agricultural laborer bound under the feudal system to work on his lord’s estate.

We are enslaved in this feudal system from birth: we are forced to go to school, and then we are forced to “make a living” and pay taxes (extortion), we are forced to obey thousands of feudal-lord rules and regulations (“law and order”) that we have no say in, and we are forced to go fight numerous illegal wars that make our feudal lords even more wealthy and powerful. This is the American nightmare that many of us still believe is “living in freedom”.

“We the people” are, as we have been our entire lives, enslaved to a feudal system that never really died, it just morphed from feudalism to monarchies/land-enclosure/taxes/usury, to the corporate-capitalist/worldwide-banking-cartel system/order, which still rapes and pillages most of us and the rest of humanity today.

So, as far as I am concerned, if the corporate-capitalist (monarchical/feudal) pigs at the top of this pile of shit system/order want to start paying us back, for what they and their ancestors owe us and our ancestors, then I will take it, and without any hesitation or shame whatsoever. The UBI would simply be what is owed to me, for being used and abused by this system/order my entire life. And I can guarantee you this, if this UBI were to be instituted, it would not be nearly enough money to pay me and my ancestors back for the heinous crimes this system/order has perpetrated on us.
