I used to believe that science was a rational answer to the hierophants and their religious dogma. But over the past forty years or so, I have had to come to the sad conclusion that science was not the answer to religion, but its want-to-be replacement; just another religion, masquerading as “enlightenment”, rationality and knowledge.

And it could be that science has always been just one more religion of man:

What They Don’t Teach You About the Most Famous Scientists

Propaganda and indoctrination have fed us our heroes, and told us all the great things about them.

But in reality, most, if not all, of these figures are quite a bit more nuanced, and often much darker than history could admit, and allow, to paint and characterize the features of its most cherished figures. #iconoclasthistory

  1. Newton was the mason like B. Franklin, my earthling friend. Newton was very interesting scientist. Probably if he lived in this century, he would be kind of cult icon, even could be a leader of a sect, who knows. 🙂 Besides of what told in this video, the mathematicians have never value as far as they had deserved. Like Pythagoras, Euclid and etc. The reason of this seems that these mathematicians also dealed the other science branchs, like physics, chemistry (except mathematician Fibonacci). Also they were interested in philosophy. But, my opinion about why mathematicians were behind the reputation of physicists, is because the physics rules are more related with daily life of humans.

For example, the people asks to themselves “why I could not fly?”, “why every time I jumped, I continusly come back on the ground?”, “why the planets don’t crash with each others?” and etc. These answers are related with the physics law of gravity.

And, anybody are not wondering which math equations were used when this physics law come out. The people focus on the result. That’s why I think, the physicists are always be the stars of the scientific areas.
